A renovation of a turn-of-the 20th Century hotel located in downtown Springfield, Ohio. Once known as the Shawnee Hotel, this multi-million dollar restoration of the nine-story building is being converted into Shawnee Place Apartments, an apartment complex dedicated solely to the elderly population with fixed incomes. CFS started the project in the Fall of 2008. As a major historic landmark, great care was taken to maintain the original design and architecture of the then Shawnee Hotel, all the while, updating and modernizing the building for the 21st Century.
